Voicing
Piano voicing is a technique in which the technician manipulates the hammers of the piano, to either make them softer or harder, according to the sound you would like your piano to have. Voicing is originally done in the piano factory. It is what gives the piano its sound, character and tonal quality. Not everyone enjoys the same sound however, and you may wish to have yours changed.
